since all the above seem to want to agree.  I'll take the opposite side of the argument.

The only thing a rock and a P47 have in common is that they both FALL out of the sky in the same fashion.  

P47 most definately sucks.  However keep telling the new guys that it rocks so they will fly it and my score will improve immensely.:)

Ill take the middle ground:

It rocks above 25k. But it climbs too slow.

It can only dive and shoot, so heavens help you if you get below 5k

8 50 cals means theres even MORE tracers with which to miss with.

Overall, its still just a big bomb with a prop in front. It must be flow as such. ;)

one thing i like is that patent sucker move the p47 has.

they do a slow wallowy roll and rudder sharply into the circle for the snapshot. i still fall for that one sometimes.

i take it up now and then for a change and wow! those guuns never miss, they cover half the screen with fire and from 6-800yds too.   a sprayers dream.

i'll stick with my 60rd, 300yd out  109 though - p47 climb times are too long.

great plane for the right people though.
