Hmm have you ever tried to turn off automatic fuel management in AH? :D
Oh well....

Something very easy to implement:

To select the % of fuel per tank instead just a global 25% 50% 75% 100%, same for DTs.

To select the % ammo load per gun set.

To have a 2D hangar interface, not as cool as the 3D one but much more functional.

To get rid off the 3D map for mission edittion.

1) I'd like not to be able to run all day at 100% throttle; I've read numerous reports that pilots could see a "bouncee" suddenly firewall the throttle when the bounce was seen in time - which proves they wern't at 100% to begin with.

2) From 1; I'd like to see exhaust smoke when the throttle is firewalled.

3) I've seen lot's of footage of the "death spiral"; the plane spinning down - the engine note rising in pitch to an impossible scream until -bang! We don't have that.

4) More consequences for over speed in dives.

5) More accurate cockpits - removal of ammo counters/trim etc where it shouldn't be.

6) Player plane skins

7) editable bomb sights (if gun sights - why not bomb sights?)

8) Terrains with a few uncapturable fields - would require a rethink of what criteria wins the war -capture of nation's capital? You should always be able to fly in an MMOG flight sim.

9) A more balanced GV set, at least one allied tank (Sherman? T34?), Panzer V. Panzer is as lame as Stang V. Stang (yes; I know about the Football war)

10) Tougher buffs/weaker guns

11) More crew on multicrew vehicles - I miss "the squad buff" from AW when 8 of us could be on the same B-17 laughing our tulips off. More than 2 crew no F3?

12) More strat targets to bomb (a Hydro dam would be nice...  :) )

13) Troop gliders being towed by buffs

14) When the message comes up saying "only 75% fuel" or "ordinance disabled" and you click OK; that should be it - it's frustrating to click away like a mad man to try and get up in the air - OK should mean "I accept".

And about 99.9% of the previous posts too :)

Agree on the fuel selection idea. Agreed on the 2D hangar.

And what about Oxygen system modeling so no more endless lurking at 30+ k  ? You run outa oxygen you either go nose down to safe alt or you suffer pilot wounded style damage... ? This should have also impact on buffs IMHO. What do you think?

But how endless is endless? Four hours a 30k with oxigen bottles?

I think oxygem system should be implemented just to be a part more to damage, damaged oxygem, and u better go lower quickly.

Of course damage to Oxygen system should be possible with consequences as described by MANDOBLE... Also fuel multiplier should relate also to Oxygen consumption.

But for sure there were planes without presurized cabins etc. Which should not be able to go that high as they do now... As I said it woould be nice to have this feature but it prolly wont ever happen coz it would result in newbies screaming that their pilots are diing without reason... :) oh wel... ;)

Also bombers like lancaster flying at 30+ k are a bit off I think those crews should freeze to death up there... Also there might be problems with engine lubrication at those temperatures etc... ?  What was usual service cieling of bombers during WW2 anyway? I doubt it was higher than 25k or am I wrong?

Well by writing endless I meant the situation we have now... So anyone can take any plane and climb as high as she goes and to stay there as long as his fuel lasts and then glide home...

I think that pilots (in RL WW2) should wear oxygen mask at altitudes from 15-16k above... (not sure about those numbers and if any of you have any info on this please feel free to enrich my knowledge)??  And with Oxygen usage multiplier (working in similar way as the fuel burn rate does) you should then watch your oxygen status quite carefuly.

You should be able to activate/deactivate the system and you should have indication of the ammount of ocygen remaining (gauge). Plus there should be Oxygen system damage added into the dmg list...
