Pros:
GUNS! - up to 3xMK103 30mm and 2xMG151 15mm cannon
Speed - 455mph at 23k
Acceleration - equal or superior to Me109
Hydraulic controls
Two engines
Ejector seat  

Cons:
No six-view
Large size
High wingloading

It would massacre bombers and any fighters that it could "bounce", but in a "fair fight" the Do-335 would possibly be too unmanoeuverable to survive very long. Sounds rather like a prop-driven Me262 really...

My understanding was the DO-335 was a good buff interceptor but not very maneuverable.
Just very very fast. It was intended to intercept B-29's that the Axis thought would soon be coming over to Europe to be used against them.

It would have been a tough nugget to bust.
Of course the P47M and N would have had a filed day with them but then again it's tough to shoot something down that ic trying to avoid you so they can get at the buffs.

 I have a friend who did a painting for a an aircraft model company making a DO-335 plastic model.  I have a scan but no website
to post it on to show you here. It is *very* nice. And the oil paiting is very much for sale.

A super high wing loaded plane, faster n' all beat hell with that heavy armament-
"Better then expected" turn could also mean
"Turns like a Jug"  

Seriously tho, if they turned like a Spit...us fighter jocks would have somethin to worry about
