hmmm just took these offline.
not sure what to think.  Suppose cant really compare rockets.

Also double checked, at the moment the tube launch angle is not taken into account, it's been on our to do list for a while. Right now all tubes are pointed the same direction as the plane.

In AH Bf-109G6 loses the Wrg-rocket launching tubes when they are fired, rest of the planes equipped with them have them stay on after the launch. As Mandoble said launching tubes had so called "emergency jettison-function". So they could be jettisoned if the plane faced immediate danger from escort fighters. The tubes were reusable, so of course pilot tried to bring them back to base whenever possible.

why is it that when a moss loses its wing, you can't fire the rockets, but when say a p51 loses its wing, you can still fire them??

I hit a p51 around 1.5+k in a HO once, but be damned if I can hit a lance from 800meters with one, fire and god knows where the damn things go.
