Looks sweet, but...

I looked forward to WWIIOnline.

I looked forward to IL2.

I'm still flying AH and looking forward to 1.09... and ya know... I'm pretty sure I'll like it.

hmmmm...interesting

I wonder if it`s gonna be a free DL as a mod for TK.
After all, these people are volunteers and aren`t getting payed.
But it does look good...
Who said the flight-sim genere was dead? :p

Belive the TW (Targetware) Crew stated that both TR and TF will be free downloads and be like mods, but don't take my word for it, if you really wanna know, better ask on the TK Forum :)

Looking SWEEEET though!

Speaking of needing talented community volunteers...........

With the release of the most recent Targetware (Target Korea) v.034, we would like to solicit participation from any flight simulation enthusiasts who are accredited Aeronautical Engineers, or students working towards that qualification, to join our "closed beta" team.  For that matter, we would also like to invite anyone else within these communities with an interest, training and talent in engineering style mathematics, as it is applied to flight simulation airfoil physics, damage and ammunition type/lethality modeling.

The Targetware flight simulation engine, designed and written by Sickware, has reached a stage of maturity and development where we would like to see serious scientific and empirical data stress testing conducted by highly qualified and enthusiastic community professionals.  The planes we would like to focus upon initially are the F86F-30, the MiG-15bis and the F-51D.  Since this is a MMP (massive multi-player) on-line flight simulation, designed by players for players, the purpose is to focus upon those players from the community with strong credentials to validate, audit and authenticate the flight models, physics and the actual software engine, based upon technical data, realism and game design.

The Targetware flight simulation engine is completely designed from the ground up with "open architecture" and "strategic" game play in mind, while simultaneously permitting complete public access to ALL technical data used within the simulation.  So, for example, the data used to feed the airfoil physics engine is publicly available and can be easily read with a standard text editor.  It's structure and what the various data sets and variables mean can be found  HERE.  I understand that Wells “wells” Sullivan is updating this document with a more current revision shortly, so keep an eye on his Aircraft Flight Models, Designs and Performance forum for an announcement or more information when it will be released.

If you feel you have the qualifications and you'd like to participate on this highly focused closed beta technical evaluation team, then please submit your request to wells@targetware.net, Targetware's Aeronautics/Chief Test Pilot.  Wells tells me that he's already signed on some well known and talented community aeronautical experts, but we could use some more for anyone who's interested.

Regards,
Doug (Badger)

Not to be picky, and maybe it is a beta plane, but anyone notice how the left wing looks like it was an afterthought?

More explanation, the wing root does not mate with the fuselage in the correct way as to how the light in the scene is interacting with it.
The fueslage at the wing root is dim and suddenly we have a brightly lit wing root.

Given the angle of the light in the scene, which appears to be high and slightly in front of the plane, the wing root should be darker.

Maybe the normals are not quite right.  Not sure, and again, I am probably being a bit picky.  It just makes the plane look,..well,..odd to me.

No idea if you're right ornot skuzzy, it IS beta however, like you said :)

Btw, could you please go to http://www.targetware.net and their forums/target rabaul and say it, you'd help out the whole community and the team by discussing it :)

I AM NOT on the team, I just want them to succeed and comments and discussions will always help them.
