Unsafe Removal of Device ???

Can anyone tell me how to avoid having this annoying message from coming up every time I remove my Lexar CF card.  The actual USB device is the CF card and not the reader, so it's not possible to just leave it plugged in (makes it hard to take pictures with my camera that way!  ).

Removing the CF card from the reader doesn't cause any other problems apart from this error.  Any ideas on how to keep it from popping up?

I have a Sandisk CF reader using Win XP.  I click on My Computer and then right-click on the Sandisk Drive. I click on eject and then imediately remove the CF card from the reader.  I don't know if it is the same for your reader but you might try it.
