Thus spake Rude:
"How about an arena where we run around in bare feet and throw rocks at each other?"

ROFL!

That being said, I would enjoy an early war arena also. I'm sure the required planeset is somewhere in HTC's plans.

This sim is great fun now, and there is still much to look forward to.

ok funked ur right.... I was a trifle harsh and may have frightened away a few of the ego impaired so..... Patience and squad choice will still be viable skills in an early war arena.  HT could make a 109E turn better than a Spit one and about the same as a Hurri so as not to upset the AH "balance" also.  110's could turn better than F4F-3's also to keep up with tradition.

Hehe little did Rip and Funked realize that their little recruiting trips would net LAZS!

Be careful what you wish for...

(Don't forget to consider the...er...gallstone of truth that is almost always at the heart of a Lazs post)

Still waiting for the Corsair to outturn the 190 so I can do my free trial...

jedi!!!!   LOL "galstone of truth...."  jedi the penultimate ambasador.   As for the Hog... don't count on it... (some)People in here actually think it is fine the way it is.

jedi... you will get a kick out of this board.   The constant daisy chain of self congragalatory back slapping and pomposity will be fertile ground for you.

Admit it funked... if they do make a 110 outturn a Wildcat.... you will defend em.

Actually Lazs, the Bf 110C has only a slightly higher (1 or 2 lb/ft^2) wingloading than an F4F-4.  They would likely be close enough in turning performance that an Wildcat pilot who was new to the sim might find himself out-turned by an Expert in the 110, causing the Wildcat pilot to whine about it on several bulletin boards.

or, put another way.... They are close enough that if the 110 were given only a 20% advantage in turn over the Wildcat an expert appologist might be able to dismiss the unfair advantage without looking too silly.
