They serve no real purpose... but any reason why they're disabled? Can they be enabled for us loyal, paying customers?

Dux: avatars are little pictures/things located under your alias. You may have seen them enabled in other forums.

Perhaps this is the reason

Not all are bad though.. maybe they could be approved by a moderator (aurelius?)
