Spawn points are too far to make it even plausible to attempt using GV's for offensives. Make them closer to the objective fields for CT gameplay.

Great work other than that personal peeve.

Roger,
I'll do that. I have always been leery of getting them too close to where they become a nuisance, but with the hilly terrain, that definitely isn't going to be a problem. You should see all of them moved closer by the time of the scenario. Thanks.

Sundog, the circles on the editor are very usefull when laying out remote spawn points.

cc HiTech. What do you guys typically use as a reference? 2 miles? 5 miles? For vehicle spawn points that is.

Sundog, id suggest using forest tiles on the hills. Ive noticed that every hill without trees is extremely bouncy when you drive through..but when in a forest tile, its smooth riding.

Would also be great to add roads (3 lanes please) passing near the spawn points and heading to the nearest bases.

Beaches are almost impossible to storm with lvts. Get a fleet near 18/17 fields and try to go ashore in one. The "beach" is still water for the lvts (leave wake behind) for a good 2000ft.. then when the LVT's hit "dirt" they get stuck. I tried to approach in 4 different spots and they all have that problem =P

All in all its a beautiful map :) :)

The GV's bounce over rock and grassy rock tiles,  farm, forest and grass tiles will give you a smooth ride.

I'm not sure about the snow tile.

I give the gv's no less than 1 mile no more than 3.

Thanks Nuttz. I thought it was part of the tile definition, but wasn't sure. I'll definitely move them (The Spawns) closer.

Tac, the reason you see the wake is due to where the ports are on the transition tile. I think HiTech did that to keep boats from running aground on transition tiles.
