condoleances to US friends.
« on: September 13, 2001, 09:37:00 AM »
There is no words.

I Feel that I need to extend my true feelings of horror, the dismay this causes.

I haven´t had the mood to play CFS game in  this envíronment that these acts of true monstruosity has left in its wake.

Although few days too late, all US citizens and friends in this game, my thoughts, prayers and utter condoleanses to all of you, and of course especially those of you lost, and those who has lost a relative or friend.

These are sad days to be human.

Well Said Stomper3,
 Although this was probably primarily directed at the US let's not forget this was The World Trade Centre. Although perpetrated on American soil many nations will have lost a significant number of people in this horror. Because of it's location more Americans will have perished than those of any other nation but that does not diminish the anger felt by the rest of the world. I have noticed a subtle change in the attitudes in the posts relating to this over the last few days. I think most will agree that mearly "Nuking the Bastards" altough giving "Instant gratification" would have ultimately left a feeling of hollow frustration after the event. These people must be made to account for this atrocity but getting the right people is as important as the act itself. Most of these fanatics want nothing more than martyrdom (sp)? and I am sure the prime suspect in all of this would welcome seeing a reaction which lowers the US and it's neighbours down to there level. We will extract clinical, absolute retribution for this but the enemies of the West (And there allies) must know that they will be persued relentlessly and there is in the end nowhere for them to hide. This act has alienated the terrorists from many of the "Safe Havens" they would have normally expected to have access to. It is the duty of both Nato and the rest of Western civilisation to show all races that their condemnation of this act is accepted and any action is directed totally at the "real enemy"

I`ll quote the VERY peaceful Swedish Prime minister;

"I don´t think the issue of not continuing or aggravating the spiral of violence is an valid one. I feel I have great support in this notion, from everyone who has seen the TV shots from New York."

This couldnt mean anything but war. US will not (and the question is, should they??) accept less then 1:1 retribution, and, sorry to say, the methods of executive power elected by the US citizens(??) last year wont ease the pressure on the innocent civilians in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Sudan or wherever the Tomahawks will come screaming in. As a world citizen, i´d like a more stable hand to hold when the wind blows than the one of GWB.

Sorry to bring politics into this.

No matter what, no matter how many tens of thousands of innocent civilians have been killed by US hand the last decades, no matter how US-sponsored the killing of youths in the refugee camps of Palestine, no matter how many innocent Iraqis starved to death during the US blockade; NOONE DESERVES THIS KIND OF STRIKE!

My hopes are, that the US remembers this when tolls are to be taken for this deed.

This surely is a dark day to be human.
