Most are not aware that Hellmans mayonnaise was originally made in England, and that 325,000 jars were packed aboard the fast liner, scheduled for fast transhipment on to Mexico, were mayonnaise was in great demand.

The Mexicans were eagerly awaiting their treasured condiment delivery when word arrived that their massive shipment had gone to the bottom of the atlantic, still in the hold of the immense luxrury liner.

They were heartbroken, and the Mexican President immediatley declared a national day of mourning, still observed to this day.

The holiday is known, of course; as..

  Sinko de Mayo.

Naw, can't be a request.  It's nowhere near as funny if you stage the "incident!"

Hangtime,

You gotta repost your cat fight story!  I searched for it but I couldn't find the damn thing.  I still tell that story to cat owners that I know and they all laugh hard when they hear it.

 POST IT AGAIN PLEASE :D
