who old is it? under a year saitek will replace it.

I gave up on the x36 had 3 in 16 months. They replace but was a bit frustrating. Last throttle they sent me spiked from 100 to around 65%.

Other then that mostly the hat switched wore out. I got one hear in a box I mailing bac they wont return it for cash but they will replace it. I'll probrably hold on to it.

Right now I moved to all ch stuff. I like it much better but 3 x times the cost of the x36.

If you take it apart you will see it aint easy by no means to move the two hats.

What you can do is see if of of the bottons are stick and clean it off the apply a small bit of silicone lubricant then puch it in and out and see if the helps.

Also a bit of tape around the shaft of the hat switch it self may give you better contact with the switch.

Anyway once you look in there you will see.

I would contact Saitek anyway if they dont ask you how long you've had it dont tell umm they may replace it....
