One of these days I need to dig up the outtakes from the Jane's F-15 and Jane's F/A-18 sound recording sessions...
Turns out one of the "squeaking Betties" was a former stripper, and she did some hilarious (and naughty) one liners...once she got on a roll, we had a hard time stopping her.
For example, instead of "OVER-G", she came up with:
"G-SPOT, THERE!"
Another actor had worked as a phone sex operator, she recorded some fun stuff for us...
"Is that a heat seaking missile in your pocket or are you happy to see me?"
Some of the funniest stuff was done by this kid that did great impressions; Sean Connery, Don Knots, Habu the 7-11 clerk, Aunt Bee...my engineer and I were in tears from laughing so hard.
Sometimes making game can be a lot of fun.
My only dissapointment was not being able to cast Ginger Lynn Allen in either game...she would have done it, and I had budget for it, but she was unavailable during the recording sessions. She would have made a great AWACS controller...
Lastly, for those of you that have seen the movie "Varsity Blues", Toni Perinsky (the health teacher) was the voice of the female SAR pilot in F-15.
