now since 1.09 version and its ping program thats been added ,I and other h2h players have been having a problem of getting in and staying in a host's room thats running a firewall , And ive had players disconnected from my room to and thats with out a fire wall up ,
1st there is no ping time posted on the kb and when i enter the host's room i end up in limbo (stuck in the tower w nothing coming in ) and then it pulls up host connection lost and has something about no tcp written in the chat text . or it boots me back to the desktop.
Now ive been discussing this with sysprobe the host w/this problem and i have had him disable his firewall .
the result was that the ping time was shown again on the kb and I was able to get in the room like normal and it seamed to run as normal.
now befor this verson, in 1.08 sysprobe ran his firewall and everyone was able to get in his h2h room .and we had very few disconnects
We have been having alot of disconnects over the past 2 months and i have noticed that your servers have been heavy with traffic .
but nothing compared to what we're getting now .
and just for my knowledge is a ping meter a good idea here ?
I remember when I used to boot people off the internet in IRC chat years ago with a ping program .
Do I perhaps need to unistall and redownload 1.09 ? i downloaded my versions straight from your website . Thanks
