I was offshore of A6 in a PT boat. I started shelling the VH with the 40mm. I'd just got the range when the trees all of a sudden appeared(i must have been close enough for them to render). The boat was coasting quite slowly.
I'd scored a couple of hits but as soon as the trees appeared my shots were blocked by them.
Until they appeared I was hitting the VH...
Seems like the trees whether they are there or not do NOT interfere with shots unless they are rendered...
