it drove me to actually learn how to turn it down.  I sure wish there were a way to just toggle it on or off.   Hearing people I didn;t want to listen to really ruined the game for me.

I expected to hate the "range voice", but so far, it has been more useful than objectionable.  Maybe people are less inclined to be jerks using their own voice, than when typing.  Anyway, I still think we need a ".squelch range".  (The downside would be that you wouldn't know who was hearing your transmission and who wasn't.)

You want to turn off ahvoice completely?  Guess it wouldn't hurt to have that option, though it works much better for me than RW ever did.  Maybe have both options:  no ahvoice, and ahvoice with the option of ".squelch range".

However, after about 3 hours of flying 1.09, I have yet to notice any abuse of the "range" channel.

I think it's really great and adds immersion. Only made best experiences with it till now.

I was able to turn everything off by just moving all the sliders in the 'setup/voice' panel to the left.   Works fine....:)


(Oh, and I also unchecked those there boxes above the sliders)
