What is a good JABO plane that can double as a good fighter once the rockets/eggs are unloaded.  I would prefer one that has good rear visiblity.

P-47D-25, P-47D-30, F4U-1D, F4U-1C, F6F-5, P-38L, P-51D.

Marginal:

Bf110G-2, Mosquito Mk VI

Don't let the P-47 fanatics fool you, there actually is choice in AH.

Hey, you guys missed out the tiffie.

The tiffie has much better survivability than any other jabo because of it's high low-alt speed.  After you dump you ord it can hold it's own against the most common fighters you'll find in MA.  If you get in trouble just head to the deck and run.:)

I forgot how much i used to enjoy flying the tiffie, gonna have to start flying her again.

However the rear visability isn't that great. (which i find odd considering it had a bubble canopy)

If you wanna look kewl take Bf-110 G-2; 2*500kg + 4*50kg, loads of ammunition and two engines and you can have a tail gunner too. Or a beer keg.
