On second reading I can see how some words in hblair's post can be found objectionable for children reading this board. But locking the thread leaves those words there anyway.
 I would think a note urging hblair to edit his post would be more constructive.

 Of course it is only our guess what caused the thread lock. Some explanation could be helpfull to prevent such occurences in the future.
