The 2.5 year "happy time" of the LW in Aces High is about to come to a close. I personally am happy to see the RAF guys get a competitive spitfire (in terms of speed). Maybe funky munky will do an about face. I'd like to see him back in the game and flying in the Spit 14 myself.

I can only pray Hblair is right :)
The LW is to proud for too long!
The JV.7 needs lessons in humility.

Yes, lets release a 5th version of the silly spitty before releasing even the 1st version of too many planes to list that are still missing from this game. No, even better... lets remove all aircraft except the spitty and include all remaining Mk.'s!

How many 109 and 190s are there!?!? 8? 16? JU88?

etc. etc.
I've been waiting and drooling over every version for the Spit Mk.XIV

But I think VWE001 does have a good idea :D

Ceratinly a high value perk, and so it should.  It will make the C-HOG look like a lamb.  I'd like to see something around 40 that will make it playable without seeing hundreds of en around the arena.  I'm still not convinced about the authenticity of the original screenshot tho.  I want the film.

There is another slant Grayarea pointed out.  Previously when testing flight models HT used other planes (remember the 600mph P51??)  So if HT is using the actual spit 14 shape then it must already be in the code.   What makes me suspicious is the '14' designation.  Would have thought HTC would have used 'XIV' Mebbe they can only use 6 characters.

Hope I'm just being my usual sceptical self.

You can just attach the film to the BB, Apache - when yo post, ther is an 'attach file' bit below the window that you type in.

Yes, I know. I'm not going to post the actual film as there are converstations with my squad mates on there. Who wants to hear ole lazs anyway?

I'm making an avi file of it but the system I'm using doesn't have the updated terrains and can't logon to AH because I'm not going to open the ports on the proxy server. The terrain is only water because of the incompatibile terrain. Also, I gotta get the size down. It's too stinkin' big right now.

Listen, I'm not pullin' a hoax. This is legit. Several rooks saw it lastnight. Tumor even got shot down before I could get to him. Dern spitV is slooooow.

Temp price - 10 is what I'm guessing for ol' Spit XIV if she ever comes around.

Sweet.  Go out in a Mk I for a couple of days, earn a Spit XIV...  works for me.  :)

The XVI LF/E would be sweeter, even at a 4-point perk or so :)

Apache,

AVI's prove nothin.  OK heres an offer, send me the film I hearby solemly take an oath never to divulge anything theirin contained except the existance/non-existance of aforementioned Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XIV by any means electronic or otherwise without the express written permission of said Apache.

I hearby gaurantee to allow every Knight and Rook to shoot me down without resistance three times if I should break this oath.

So help me God.

C'mon Apache send it to me and I'll then vouch.  Puherleeese

Grem.
