I thought I would stop in and check the message boards to see if anything has changed, and I see it has, not just new planes but the player base hasnt gotten better or worse still the same, kids calling each other dweebs for fling spits, what ever happened to the LA7 did they perk that basterd.  I am growing further and further away from AH because of WWIIOL and its invironment, one where I dont have to hear poor losers cry about how a 110C4 or a 109E4 is better than a Curtis Hawk P36 or a Hurricaine MKI, I welcome and fear the Spitfire MKI whenever someone flies one from england.  If they ever change the capture system in WWIIOL I would be happy but no game I have played has a decent capping system, even AH had a "OK" system but it is a different game.  I am just wondering who all is left from the the golden days prior to the death of AW and WBs........

What BBS did you read? This is EXACTLY the kind of thing that flooded the WWIIOL BBS numerous times.

The WW2OL bbs was the most horrendous, foul-mouthed, racist group of posts I have ever seen in my entire life.  I didnt have an account there but I read it alot.  If anyone mentioned *anything* slightly negative about WWIIOL, they were instantly classified as a homosexual and the things said to them would make a 20 year prison veteran *cry*.

I see some of U read into post a little much Wotan I woulda thought more of U but I guess I was wrong.  As for Dolomite, I never heard of you knore do I care to after that comment.  I was saying that the in game talk is where I dont have hear the sorry people cry about it and spamming the channels.  I did love AH and I am sure there are many in the game that I still would love to fly with and against.  And for you all definate 1 sided POV the WWIIOL BBS is still up and opperational it has just been moved.  I say thinngs negative about the game all the time in the BBS and I just ignore flamers but I see they have different types here more or less sophisticated types now.  The only slightly raciest remarks I have heard on the WWIIOL BBS has been oriented towards the opposite sides contry in game.  If I recall in AH you all do much the same thing calling the British Airforce pilots "Limeys" in scenaros, what is the difference from calling the French army "Frogs" hmmmm AH says its "getting in persona" well in WWIIOL its the SAMETHING!!  I dont agree with it or condone it, but it is really funny that I come back and say some positive stuff about a different game and you all flame me for it, so what makes you better than the 10-15 year old kiddies that called you a studmuffin for saying something negative about WWIIOL?  can we say HYPICRITICAL?  I dont mean to insult some of you but some of you are the same sorry pilots I left behind.  And Wotan I remeber your 190 quite well and I miss fighting them but I will gladly trade having numerous planes to fly for a limited number and realistic match ups, in a fluid environment.   I see it was a mistake to come back and see if anything had changed for the better it is nice to see they now alow 550 in the MA and the CT is picking up, I also read they finaly got around to increaseing the damage on the CVs well its about damn time, bet you still have sucide Lancs kill them though.   Well thats it from me for now good luck Wotan and to the rest of you Luftwabbles and your leather undies.

How exactly was my comment so horrendous I am no longer worth knowing? My observation is true, you know.

The Playnet hosted site no longer has a general discussion- it has an announcement section, but Hatch stated clearly on the BBS they could no longer control the community there.  Sure, HQ runs a site, but it is broken into genre and has no real general discussion area. There are some smaller, semi-private sites as well, but it was the incorrigible behavior of the community that led to the CRS decision.  Spin it any way you like, the former BBS is dead and the community has been fragmented by that act.

No common country channel ingame? Agreed, I like that too. Unfortunately I have seen plenty of countrymen take up the slack, berating all players on our side for not jumping on the plan. It's all the same, no better environment at all.

No, all the comments made there are not limited to getting into personna, as you put it. Many are mean-spirited. Hey, we have 'em too, but I have never seen anything like what happens over there. But, as you say, you were talking about the online aspect.

Now if you were a bit less defensive you would note I said "the game is fun when it works". Isn't that fair?

wwiiol communication sucks I had a sub there till recently. What you hear on open channel is very limited.

The fact is wwiiol got rid of their bbs if you had read anything on that board you would no it. To come back to AH and say how better the player base is at wwiiol is a big stretch.

If you enjoy wwiiol great have fun. But dont point your finger at the guys in ah as if as you found Nirvana. Nobody is flaming you. We are simply responding in the same tone you set in your post.
