im havin a little trouble editing my films, cutting parts out that i dont want and stuff. anybody wanna take the time to explain to a retard the spacifics of this?:)

Here's how to cut parts out of the avi with Virtualdub.

1. Open the avi file.
2. Move to the beginning of the part of the video you want to delete.
3. Of the two buttons that have arrows on them (they are the two right most buttons) click the left one to mark beginning of selection.
4. Move to the end of the part of film to be cut.
5. Click the right arrow.
6. The section chosen should turn blue.
7. Press delete key.
8. Choose compression and filters.
8. Save the avi with a name other than the file you opened.
Here we put salt on Margaritas, not sidewalks.

i've spent 3 days being up untill 4-5am trying to figure out how to do that.
