I never never ask for anything....but please please unperk that plane.....
with all them HO'ers and sprayers in the MA arena....it ain't worth the risk to lose 60 perks.

La7 is faster.....spit9 turns better.....so why the 60 perks, all it does is hold speed better then the other 3 F4's, oh ya it climbs a little better....that why it costs 60 perks.

plus I love seein that plane in the air.....me or another flyin it doesn't matter...its beautiful.

we just don't see it enough....too many HO'ers out there.

thx

I don't think it should be unperked. If it was, you would never see any other F4U types. I do think it should be made much cheaper. 20 perks would be plenty.

It takes two to HO but if you can't avoid them use F4U-1C: Only 8 perk-points and it's armed with Hispano cannons with plenty of rounds.

Agree with Raub, should be a low perk, if anything, LA7 should be perked more expensive than F4U-4...IMO.  Just too many of them.

Everything has a perk value.  EVERYTHING!

But for some reason Pyro has not made the necessary adjustments.

Training arena is perk free, as it should be.

Take perks away from everything.

Split arena in 3 parts.

1. Earlywar arena 39 -41
2. Middlewar arena 42-43
3. Latewar arena 44 -45

No perks, no whining, well...Niks still exist...:D

And keep settings like they are now. CT should be in own catecory..

I like the idea of splitting a Tour into a few parts, but think it should still utilize the perk system.  For a very simplified example, make something like an ME-109E and F4F-3 free to any player for the first arena setting and have those aircraft that are mid-war or mid-threat have perks at say a 10-30 range and those late-war or severe-threat aircraft perked at 50-80.  Then when we hit the middle stage of the Tour, those mid-threat aircraft would become free and the late-war stuff would drop.  Again, it's a just a simplified example.  But this wouldn't prevent anyone from flying anything.  Maybe an LA7 will cost you a lot during the early-war arena and not so much during a mid-war, but it's free during the late-war arena.  Rolling perks doesn't prevent anyone from flying anything and it also allows a greater chance of survivability for someone who wants to fly the Hurri1 or ME109E or P40 a little bit in the MA.   My $.02.

All what I can say about perks is that they are a mistery for me.

A good set of rules would be:
1 perk per mph above 360mph on the deck WEP ON.
1 perk per mph below 90mph till stall speed flaps/gear up.
1 perk per every 200 fpm above 3500fpm till 10k WEP ON autoclimb 100% fuel
1 perk per every 100 fpm above 3500fpm from 10 to 20k WEP ON autoclimb 100% fuel
1 perk per every 1000 lb of bombs loaded
1 perk per available drop tank
1 perk per every 2 rockets
1 perk for 2 engines fighters
1 perk for planes with combat flaps.
1 perk for bubble canopy planes.
3 perks per hispano gun.
1 perk per every 50" or not hispano gun

Now lets calculate the perks for all the planes and then unperk everything that has less than 20 perks.
