Ok, i went and HO someone and we both shot each other down. I bail he gets a kill message, he bails a few seconds later i get no kill message. i've got it on film too.

A few weeks ago the same thing happened when i was shooting a b17. I bailed before he did and he got a kill message and i didn't. The horrible thing was that he was in his chute floating feet away from me- i must have bailed a fraction of a second before he did

Why is this? Any logical explanation

Is this a bug or just the way it's been coded.

I've never thought of myself as a score potato, but I do find myself trying to bail out after the other guy lol. Guess I just don't want to give him the satisfaction of a kill.

The instant you bail, your sortie is over and you can not be awarded any kills, points etc. (Although you can earn a proximity Chute kill sometimes.)

Dump troops at a base, die and get sent back to the tower, 1 sec later the base gets captured and you will not get credit for the capture either.

Solution, don't bail.

I've been in a HO situation where neither player actually hit the other with a shot, but they collided... and then... Neither of us got a kill.

I errrm bumped into a B17 about a week ago, I never landed one shot, nor did he... we both died noone got a kill...

Simple solution....dont bail.

Or if you do, make sure the FDB's ain't around.
