i dunno thrawn, when cats arent eating, sleeping, or ignoring everyone, they FLIP OUT ALL THE TIME!!!
case in point:
i took my cat, Thompson Jehovah Chuckledust, to the vet 2 weeks ago cause his weiner was broken. (he had that plugged wee wee thing that male cats get some times.)
When the vet came into the room, tommy totally lost it! She tried to touch him and tommy scratched the hell out of her. She was all bleeding and scared, so she thought she would slam tommy down on the examination table. I was all like "yeah that will work...hahhahahhha"
So tommy flips out like 150 times harder and claws and bites her again!
So now the vet is totally bleeding and her arms are all bloody. Tommy extends up onto the top of the shelf and prepares for a sweet bounce on the vet. The vet is like "OHHHHH CRAAAAAAP!" and runs out of the room. There is this dog outside the room too and he sees how hard tommy is flipping out he starts cowering in the corner...lucky for the dog Tommy is too busy flipping out to notice him.
Next shaylee or shaynee or whatever (ask bungicus, he took his ferret there the other day and he has a better memory than i do.) comes into the room.
She works at the vet as a receptionist and she is a total babe. Tommy totally calms down and ceases flipping out and starts purring and being all nice. He would have popped a few boners but his boys were kind of under the weather.
Anyway that cat would have a decent chance, as long as he flipped out correctly
