The new ranking changes to the score pages are great!
Salute!

Changing hit % to and actual percent was a good idea.

Kills per time is another area that could be improved.  As it stands now, we all have kills per time that are .00XX, this is not a useful number that tells the player much.
An improvement would be to express kills per time either as "Kills Per Hour" or "Minutes Per Kill".  That way we could see that Player X on the average gets 5.79 kills per hour, or on the average it takes him 9.25 minutes to earn each kill.   This would be much more useful information.
A secondary benefit of this change would be that it would break the huge ties in the lower .00XX range.  There must be over 100 players in the MA that have K/Ts of .0010 and all of the surrounding K/Ts. Breaking it down to kills per hour, however, would place Player A with a Kills Per Hour of 3.25 one place ahead of Player B with a Kills Per Hour of 3.24

Thanks,
eskimo

Yes Hitech, but it's not a meaningful number to most people.
.0013 kills per second is too little to comprehend.
Also it creates the ties I mentioned.

K/T is a "problematic" score now measured in seconds, milliseconds or nanoseconds.

As an example, you takeoff, use five mins to fly to the combat area, then expend other five mins fighting getting 3 kills and other 5 mins returning to your base.
The problem is that if you keep in the combat area untill fuel is gone, you probably will double your kills, you will have much better kills per time, better or same kill/sortie and same ammount of points while keeping a more than decent kill/death ratio.

IMO, K/T should be considered only when you end your sortie landed in a friendly field. Else, the expended time is considered but not the kills achieved (only for K/T ratio).
