I'm downloading new terrain files, but the map room dots are still yellow. Thought they were going to be changed with the next terrain update. Not a good time to do that, or did it fall off the "to do" list?

I agree....color should change, and if possible shape also. Any way to make them a round dot instead of square?

I think the main reason is most people were using yellow for squaddies until the map room dot came along. After that, most of the colors are compromise choices that don't show up well against sky/cloud/ground or are close to the typical green/red of friendly/enemy. Yellow showed up well in most situations in the arena, but with yellow map room dots, there's always the question of "is that my squaddie or is it the map room?". I personnally use white and try to stay away from the clouds

. If I had my choice, though, I'd change the map room color on the map and go back to yellow.

Change the shape would seem the best idea - then colors doesn't matter.

Make it a large triangle
