Not to take anything away from your squad, that is an outstanding accomplishment S!  But what I find more impressive, is that a squad with three times as many members finished 2nd, the Arabian Knights :)

well theres 12 of us

671 hours for the squad but 2 guys made up about 270 hours.

They are not the higher ranked guys in the squad either.

If you look at just the average incuding the 2 with 270 hours between we average 56 hours a person.

Which isnt representative agjv44 has less then 17 hours and ranks at 38

I have 43 and rank at 48

if you look at your squad of 32 the last 5 make up about 7 hours. I subtracted that from your total hours at 1415.

so 1408/27 = 52.

So theres a 4 hour difference but like I said we have 2 guys get 270 the other 10 average 40 hours.

Tour 25 when we finished 1st we only had 10 guys flying

total hours at 400 so that average 40 which is about where we were with jv44 when we only missed out of the top 5 something like 5 times in our year or so as a squad.

The core of the squad from jv44 are consistant to about 40 average. That may go up and down a bit but its pretty accurate.

Im not gonna go through and check but 56 maybe be a bit higher total average of the rest but if you look to total time as an indication of rank it wont help much.

at one time in tour 25 6 out of the 10 in my squad had k/d above 6 to 1.

But anyway rank in and of itself means nothing. However it does reflect a little on how well we work together and its been pretty consistant since I have flown lw squads. The 1 st full tour I was in with jv44 we finished first as well. But we were a small group of 4.

We are actual starting to put together a pretty decent squad. We didnt recruit just experten pilots we try to bring each guy along.

Anyway this thread was to salute them not really so much about blowing our own horn.

well from a quick check you have about 5-7 with less then 10 hours

and the the burden of the squad rank is carried by 2 or 3 of the best pilots in ah.

where are we at best average alone we make this up  by flying well together.

The aks are always consistant and I am sure a great squad but my thread here to publicly thank my guys :)

Well I was impressed until I remembered Rammjagr and his squad of 2 pilots held either #1 or #2 the last 3 tours.

SirLoin- it's much easier to rank #1 when you have 2 or 3 guys than it is with 10-32 guys because it averages in all of the stats. Hell, you could have a make believe squad with 3 "pilots" in it... but those 3 pilots are just your 3 accounts you use to get your "squad" to rank #1.

But with 10+ guys, it's quite a feat.

Congrats Wotan & JG2.
