hm why am i seeing 44 ms pings when i usually see like 350 ms? i am on a shared t3 line. also i just tried playing the pings are very low but that host queue time is zipping all over the place and making planes do tiny micro warps.

Rigzat,

Someone last night noticed that the microwarps appear to coincide with the new faster radar updates.  I couldnt tell but then again Im relaxed, its just a game afterall.

Wow, that's a big leap! I typically get 180-230 ms pings at all times using a dial-up modem via AT&T Worldnet service. Worldnet provides the best modem connections to the web that I have seen. They provide 60 megs of web space and a zillion other features. Should have ISDN by the end of summer too.
