Whats you guys opinion on using the ME-110C to represent the Ki-45 Nick in a PTO set-up. The performance and armament seem similar?

I'll check my Jane's when I get home today and see how close they are.  The IJ forces could certainly use a Jabo with some real teeth.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Ya your not going to match the 37mm Ho-203 and the 2 20mm Ho-5 fire power with the comparetavely parltry preformance of those 20mm MGFF and 7.9mm MG's.

Although the bomb load is the same.

The Ki 45 KAIb started production in January 1942.

It is an interesting Idea though, howeaver the George can cary the same bomb load and has a ton more firepower and is a consederably better fighter, same goes for the Tony. The main advantage the Ki 45 would have would be that 37mm cannon. For which we have no subsitute.

good suggestion but i think personally if an aircraft doesnt add in terms of performance (or ordinance in this case) its best to try to avoid the loss of immersion caused by suddenly being confronted by a LW aircraft in a PTO theatre.

If we could put a japanese skin on ANY aircraft then id be all for substitutes :)

I find personally it grates my teeth to see the wrong planes flying in the wrong theatres.
This was why i so looked forward to the CT in the first place.

finally i didnt have to fight niks in 109s or 109s in 190s etc.

PLUS i like to make avis and to make good looking ones i need the right aircraft :)
