All -

I would like to submit a vote (if you will) to expand the functionality of the AH film editor to allow you to "jump" into the action similar to what AW's film editor did.  I posted once about AI in offline mode and the fact that there was none (which is ok).

However, I would like to be able to replay filmed mission in an attempt to figure out where I went wrong and why that spitV shot down my 205 in a turn fite :D

HT, would this be a difficult thing to do for the next release (or future release) possibly?  If not, I would like to put in my official vote for this feature.  If so, I'll just have to go pout in the corner :)

Thanks!

If I understand you correctly, you already have that ability.

Look to the right of the viewer (as the film is playing), there will be a list of all the people and and planes in your vacinity, along with their range to you. Double click on the other pilots name, and you'll find yourself in his cockpit. The down side though, none of his guages will work.:(

Acutally, what I would like to do is be able to take control of my a/c and refly the fight, not just view it from a different perspective.  In AW, you could take control of your a/c and shoot down the aircraft in the film.  The a/c would continue to fly their record flight paths, but you could control your a/c  separate from the film.  It was a really cool feature and very useful in learning what and what not to do...
