I'm going to say that it is either a Small type Sea Plane tender or PT Boat tender. Not sure of the classes.

Not a "Flower" Class Corvette - too many guns forward.

im guessing that its either a PC or PCE type coastal and harbor patrol craft......the pic you have may be one of the conversions for the brits.....before we sent it over...about 78 were made total PC and PCE class
