Sorry I had to do this, I made posts about this 4 times...and it still inst fixed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I noticed a few other people have posted this too, but i am gonna repost it. Almost everyone with a sidewinder has been having this problem. I am having it, and Soviet is having it.

Problem: During gameplay, the joystick will just stop working. In order to get it to work, i have to alt+tab. Unplug the joytick, plug it back in, and reinstall the drivers. By the time i have done all that, i have already been bounced, and probally am ded.

This problem started happing and patch 2. Plllllleeeeaaaasssseee release a patch ASAP.

BTW: I do have all the updated sidewinder drivers, and the latest windows USB patches installed

Sorry JoeCrip, that just isn't true.  There are two of you having this problem... that's all.  Many many folks use the Sidewinder sticks, and it works absolutely fine for almost everyone.  I'll have to go check your other thread... but I did make some suggestions to you in there.  Give those a shot.

Also, this isn't the right forum.  Tech support is where you'll get help from HTC... this forum is for help learning to play the game better.

Joe,
I use a MS Sidewinder FF2 and had a similar problem off and on for awhile too - my Force Feedback would quit working after a crash.  But that was a long time ago and it hasn't happened in months.  Perhaps if you'd remove those drivers, reboot (<-A must) your puter, then reinstall them, it might help.  That's what I did way back when.  I think I reinstalled DirectX and my Sound drivers too (they all work together - or not).  Been a while though, so I'm not sure.

Hope this helps
