Eagler????????

I noticed you had posted in another thread that you had mapped the rotary switches on your Saitek X45.
I want to map the one under the thumb for my elevator trims up/down and the top switch for the rudder trims.
Can ya tell me how to get this done?

Thanks in advance!  :)

you have to break the rotor into three bands

a small one in the middle and two equal ones on both sides of it

leave the band in the middle unprogrammed, while one of the others is programmed for one movement and the other is prog for the other movement

the secret with this setup is to bring the rotor back to center (you can feel the indent) each time you adjust the trim. You have to do this to stop the movement or else it'll keep going till it bottom/tops out. Sometimes you have to bring the rotor back through center to "wake up" the control. Not as complicated as I made it sound and it works well for me though others don't like the centering thingy.

X45

Here's a profile to check out. It has the thumb as elevator, left forefinger as rudder trim and rocker for aileron as I use external rudder pedals.

Let me know if you need help

I've downloaded that one, unzipped it, but what do I read it with?  It asks me what I want to open the file with after I unzip it, and it is in .psi format.  Kinda dumb question, but I confess to not knowing what I need to read it or view the settings.

import it using the Saitek frontend software. Then you can print it out or open it up and see the commands
