Excellent plane to introduce..I think I asked for it a year ago.
Wide spread service and a great contemporary of the JU88.
We need SAAF  P40e to escort it though...he he

You now have a bomber that is representative of American, French, British, Australian, and Russian Air Forces. It was outpaced by later war craft, but in the 1939 through early 1943 it should be able to fulfill its role.

It's fast, nimble, and has some (4x.50) offensive firepower. A wave of these dropping in should give a field a quick once over. Sure, there are better planes now to do that, but in a scenario... ;)

El Almain (sp)?
BoF?
Tunisia?
Eastern Front?
Pacific?

This plane was a must-have. If we are lucky, we'll see P-40s, Ki-44s, Ki-43s, and FM2s in the next version. Wouldn't that be cool?

Clarification, the British version used .303s, but the Americans used .50s in later versions.

I'd also like to see a Mosquito bomber variant.

New GV's too?

The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

Sigh... Boston, aye, a name that really springs to mind...?! OK, I know, I know, not all important planes became well-known generally, but if we were to have another RAF bomber I'd rather have had a Wellington (for preference) or a Blenheim.  On the other hand, if the Boston was that widely used by different airforces, then that's a big plus in its favour.

The MAIN thing, though... it's a new plane, and a bomber at that! :-) Now, when can us Luftwaffles have  bit of choice in what buffs to fly, He111H anyone? Do217E (c'mon,that's late war!)  Is it a bit too outre to ask for a Do17Z?  :-}

Seriously, I'd like to see the SM79 then the He111 followed by the Pe2 then Catalina and FW200. As for fighters: Rata, Hawk75 and Fiat CR42. All early war. All doubtless sneered at by those who cant bear not to be flying the fastest, deadliest whatever because of poor piloting skills (hey, in uber fighters even I can look passably good as a fighter pilot, and trust me, I'm definitely not a great fighter pilot!)

So... Whilst it isnt the plane I'dve chosen to have in the game, aye, it'll be good to have the Boston to fly! :-} Cant get over how ofte AH comes out with new stuff for us to play with... very, VERY nice!

Esme

PS: any chance of a T34 (for preference) or Sherman GV?

The A20 Havoc    a nice addition.  Brits called them Bostons.
I have read articles that during the D-Day Invasion, that the Havocs flew so low over the hedgerows that their props cut swaths on top of the hedgerows.  Fairly fast and nimble as I recall.

Esme, you might note the Boston was very important early in the war, and the Brits replaced their Blenheims with them. It had more impact in the Pacific and in the African theatres (and fewer losses), but it was important throughout the war.
