Hi Guys.

I personally think the game would be improved by having 1 or 2 manable 88mm and above Flaks at the Airfields. This would handle the "high and invulnerable" bomber problem, and with their realatively low rate of fire, would still make hitting the bogeys difficult.

Another possible option, are Flak towers, which became ubiquitous at a German airfields from 44 on. Either way, attacking a field shouldn't be a cinch compared to strafing a train.

Each country's HQ is actually a German flak tower.  The airfields with multiple runways already have flak at the fields, but they're not mannable.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Any chance of making the big flak mannable as well?

BTW - Im not particularly afraid of being called a Flak Dweeb, anything that fires that slow hardly qualifies as a dweeb weapon.

Probably not, but who knows.  The 5 inch guns in the fleet are mannable, and they have a setting for flak.  I think it's the secondary fire button, but I haven't tried it in a long time.  It is pretty funny when you nail someone with it.  It is usually followed by a whine about AI ship ack, but you can snicker knowing that it was really you that got the kill.  :)

Sorry, it was joke.
I think man flak would be interesting. :)
also no VT-warhead is better.

like this:

1) Contact Dot.
2) Expect Enemy's altitude.
2) Set "Shell Burst Altitude" by "+" and "-" keys.
3) Expect enemy's future position, then Fire.

what about this idea? :)

wasn't aware off that so i tried it out yesterday .
i gotsome it was great :D
