accuracy of bombing

Question:

we often take a bobmer in AH, fill it up wiht bombs and take out of hanger or two with pin point accuracy.

my question is, how come it took in WW2 about 30 bombers in formation to hit a target and even then sometimes they missed it?
I know they didn't drop one 1K on the hangers then come aorund again to make another pass, they dropped all the bombs at once.

also HT can we please have some fire bombs, that would be so cool :)

The trouble is targets in AH (and any other online sim for that matter) require this pin-point strike to actually damage them. If fields perhaps had maybe a preset level of ordance required to hit within the airfield boundary to close it then maybe we could have a realistic norden.

As a bomber pilot I'd love to have a more realistic norden, something that took some time and a bit of knowledge to setup but first the way objects take damage within AH needs to be changed.

And now I'll let the usual suspects froth at the mouth about bombers in AH and let them try and convince you how they are the route of all evil

Ever seen 30 buffs in formation in AH?

I have. I think the experience would answer your question. ;)

Try it in a scenario.
