Collen Powell, the right person at the right place in time...Clinton came close but this man will go down in history as the mediator who listened to both sides and made his mark as a diplomat...He is our last hope,I wish him luck.

Yeah, me and Weazel sure are glad Bush picked him for Sec/State and sent him on this mission.  :D
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Quit smoking the rock, Toad.  Everyone know that Bush consulted with Clinton, and Clinton suggest Powell for both jobs.;)

Powell is actually a Democrat who only declared himself to be a Republican so Bush could appoint him Secretary of State. Had Gore won the election Powell would STILL be Secretary of State, but he would be a Democrat. This man is much too sensible to be a true Republican.
