Ati Radeon 8500

I posted this before..but  still didnt get the response I was lookn for...Do you have a radeon...??? And Do you have it si fine tuned that it is WONDERFUL AND SMOOTH.......What settings should i hvae on -off in my video card setup..Just looking for the fine tuning aspects....I get 20-90 fps........

Not sure what you are asking for.  My 8500 is nice and smooth, and all I did was install it and used the latest ATI release drivers.

I tried out Radeon Tweaker, but found it crashed some programs I have to be able to run that are not DX nor OpenGL related.  Just regular Windoze apps.  So I just run it as she came.

So, if you could be a bit more specific about what type of information you are looking for I am sure you will get a lot of good answers.

Open GL...anti liasing....i dont even know what they do..I just know somtimes you can swicth a few buttons and see big differences.....Its kikn bellybutton right now..but i would like it to be the best it can....so im not really sure what to ask for ....Ya I dont want to download some tweak software..lord knows i dont want any problems.......so i was hoping for someone..Like you who has had some experince tuning in there ATI 8500 card....and if theres nothing to do except....play then so be it.....But the stuff like compressing data, and things that you want to uncheck in your modem settings..kinda the samr thing i was lookn for in my video card....ANy thing that usaully set to default that would hinder my AH game...its the ony thing my computer does........


crap people at my work keep bothering me...Sheaat..im busy tryn to get my AH expeince the best..lolololo...some people dont understand the deadly business we are in skuzzy!!!...lmfao:)

AH is a D3D game, Opengl settings will not have an effect on the game. Full screen anti aliasing will smooth the jagged edges, but at the cost of some preformance. the higher the setting the more hit you will take. Leave texture compression ON,

Certainly turn off your modem connection Icon that displays in your task bar when connected. This can cause stutter.

Im using Rage 3d tweak without issue, I've also have used PowerStrip, again without Issue.

Atleast try Rage 3d, you can right click on any setting to get info on what it does.
