Sorry Ripsnort to shake you out of your typical center-of-the-world is me attitude...yes, it's damn hot.

I was in Dallas last week. It was 115°F when I left the airport... it was hot, but not that hot.
When I stepped of the C-5 Galaxy in Baghdad in 88 with the UN, it was 129°. When I went out to the desert to do border patrols between Iraq and Iran, it would go up to 145-150°F at 85% humidity. At night it got down to a cool 117°. Now that is hot. Iraq has a beautiful countryside.
