Here's a thought... how about playing all aspects of the game and elevating your score to the point if you do not like what the carrier is doing take command and make the change! Rank has privileges... of course then you wouldn't be able to whine about it on the boards...

if you are using land mode for gunning a base, the only turning that will affect your aim is if your guns are not able to rotate far enough to hit the target.
