recommend a simple free wave editor?....

im in need of a simple free wave sample editor so i can add sounds together or edit parts out etc.

a freeware or demo would be cool but if its a cheap peice of software thats ok.

i dont want to spend more tha 20 pounds sterling ($30?)

Microsoft Sound Recorder.

err - Im using goldwave. it's shareware though.

Mitsu how can i use goldwave on a M3U file?

I downloaded it from the web but nothing seems to support it.

is there a way to convert it to wave?

Hi Hazed,
 I'm sure someone will correct me here if I'm wrong but I'm sure an "m3u" file is a Playlist (It links to sound files but is not actually a sound file itself). I know "Jet Audio" plays "m3U" files and also has a record option.

Probably not much help but...

Hazed..

I also use Goldwave (shareware)
You can convert files with the program...
I have converted a number of MP3 files to .WAV formats with it.. then edit the .wav's
