« on: July 07, 2002, 05:16:55 PM »
I hope that my old TM stick will work in Windows XP now with this thing. It's gameport to USB converter and some Windows USB drivers. Anyone tested it ?

EDIT Here it is http://www.oscaroscar.com/pp_JO-203.asp In fact its avail from many places and probably can be found cheaper - just google it for "USB Joystick Converter".

I dunno if it will work with yer thrusty stick, But it works for my Thrusty RCS pedals.

The limits seem to be that you lose any programability, along with any FF functions. (like my CH Force FX, only works in mode 2, w/0 FF).

Also; You may have to play around to find which mode better suits your needs, and on re-boots you may have to unpliug it, then plug it back in to have it detected.

Mine's on a Win 98SE machine, YMMV

I have used one from radio sahck for many different devices without issue.  You should email your stick manufacturer for specific peace of mind.
