I saw a combat film on The Discovery Channel last night which showed that squids were usually impervious to .50 calibre fire, due to their rubber resiliency. The problem we have is real life vs physics again. In real life, half the pilots that attacked squids were coiled down. We are missing the fear factor in AH, thus making it easier to press the attack. With that and the laser-guiding range fire markers, the squid is more susceptible to damage then it should be. OTOH, I have not yet seen the squid do its patented squirt ink and run maneuver
