Flying at night in the MA right after returning home from an eye exam (dialated pupils) can be very traumatic.

Must have lawn darted five or six times in an hour session

whew! Glad it's just a flyin' at night warning, I thought it might be another "what I'll do if ya steal my kill" warning.

Pupil dialating agents are supposed to improve ones night time target acquisition .

riding home from my first ever pupil dialation, I learned all about night time visual aquisition. I was looking out the window of the car, and as we passed a parking lot, a Semi was headed onto the street. It's headlights were exacty at eye level what with me in a miata and all. Gave me a headache for the rest of the night.

This may be true in the "real world", but looking at a dark monitor during the afternoon, even with the blinds closed, and the lights turned off was a real challange.
