That article is certainly a Whine of the Week to me

While I commend Canada for what it does, un noticed, the United States does as well.  That doesn't make one better than the other.  But for the record, two nations that run off to assist other nations, thanklessly.  The MidEast, etc etc

While I salute all my Canadian friends, that article as "Poor stinking me" threaded all through it.  I'd much rather see the Canadian's get the "Atta Boy" they deserve, rather than that big, whiney article.  Boo diddlying hoo.

Could someone post that article a Canadian journalist wrote commending the Americans for all their endeavors and good deeds?

LePaul, did your mom ever tell you to think before you opened your mouth?

If   I started a thread about how America kicks arse and is the tits you would put your up and happy face and whatever else crap.

so a  fellow Canadian puts up a valid article about how we get farked (see above to note how i feel) and you call it a whine?!??!?!

i could go on about how the Americans joined WW2 when it was convenient and how they fight wars now for the almighty dollar, but i wont.... i have too much respect for Americans and their servicemen and women.

dude you need a serious kick in the ass.

I have to agree that the original long post that started this thread came across as a whine.

That doesn't mean all canadians are whiners tho.

I've known both sorts... in Canada and America.

However I do note this vein of 'we're the peacekeepers of the world' idea in more than one thread, and in more than one Canadian.
I don't get it.
