whats the difference between clams and oysters, hungry people want to know.

clams have smoother shells and live under the sand.

oysters have shells that look like weird growths, they atatch themselves to objects above the mud, they have pearls(sometimes), and when cleaned they look like something you coughed up outta your lung

Actually clams and oysters can look like something alot more pleasant than a loogie you cough up.

Ever heard of a "bearded clam"?

If it's prepared properly. You need to loosen it up with a mallet or it is too tough to eat.
I love all shellfish, nothing better than a good cioppino.
