The best I have seen is the Saitek- I use the X36 but I believe it is upgraded now.  It has the most buttons for functions, a rudder control (I hate the twisty things) , throttle and  separate joystick.  It could be better but I think it has the most functionality out there now. :)

Here is one, losts of buttons, no twisty grip:

Go for the Cougar if you can afford it. Otherwise the Saitek is good.

I had pre-ordered the Cougar, but got tired waiting for delivery.

I had a Saitek x36, the HAT wore out in 1,5 year. But stick has very good response and I like the programming options.

Hence I ordered a x45. I can buy 3 of those for the price of one Cougar.

I use the Saitek HOTAS with CHPro Pedals (USB)

I use the Logitec Digital Extreme 3D. I've been using it for about 8 months now, and it seems to work great in AH, CFS, CFS2. It has 7 preprogramable buttons, as well as an 8 way hat switch, and the twist handle for rudder control. It is affordable at $35.00 at most Wal-Marts or through Logitec's website. I had a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback P-2 for about 6 months, but it died on me and MS wouldn't stand behind the warranty. I miss the feedback aspect, but for $35 vs. $105 and one less programable button, I'll stick with my Logitec.:)

The Cougar is shipping.  The US seems to be one of the last places it is shipping.  Right now the only people in the US have ordered theirs from an over-seas distributer.  I expect they will start shipping in the us this week.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to come :)
