It is when I came out of the clouds that I realised theat the "ClangClang" sound was not there as one of Mitsu's "eastern eggs", but was also accompanied by a strong shake, it took me a good 10 seconds to read the speedometer<g> ...610 MPH!

This thing is a Blast to fly, I'm 6 again when I, hearing that...click..wwwwWWWWWOOOOSH !

 Those jet bombers are expencive, once the accumulated perk points run out.
 They are fast but can be ambushed.
 They do not carry a lot of fuel and they have to land. That is how Allies fought the "untoucheable" Bf262 - on takeoff but mostly on landing.
 With a bit of cooperation life can be made very tough for an Arado driver.

Bf is a designator for 109s indicating which plant it was built at. Me109s were built in the Messerschmitt plant.

I was caping a field last night in a D9(suprise) with about 18k alt. Eddiak send one note on channel 2
Pongo 234.
I corrected him as to our squad freq. for rw. But then I realised what he meant. He knew roughly where I was and must have known I had a chance to intercept. I turn towards the direction he had left in his La7 when I can make out 2 dots. Wep on  set dive to gentle max speed dive. I can see dot one is leaving dot 2 in the dust. But it seemed I might get a shot. I keept a lead angle on him and was starting to be sure I would get to him. As I pulled in 800 behind him and gaining I started to worry that I would overshoot. I throttled back to kick out wep.
Big mistake. He droped his nose and started to rocket away, the range meter went from quick gain to even to loss increadably fast.
I droped my nose and started to make it up again. He made his dive more radical and started to pull out to 1k on me again. But his nose was too far down and he could not seem to maintain it. Then I remembered Wep. duh...
Hit wep again when he was at 1.2 or so. but we were both at high angle dive into a vally north of 15. I cut the angle on his escape with him on the deck and lined him up good. He pulled hard to evade my shot and I pulled up to wingover another attack. He augered as I approached again.
I wish I had been in a pony. It would have been picture perfect. As it was it was a very exciting fight cause I have not flown the ardo and do not now its behavior. I new it was fast but was amazed how it accellerated in a dive when it was allready nearly locking my controls to get it.

Bombers take down fighter hangers with near impunity now. I dont see a big dif.

They CAN be killed  

Just rare to intercept them, and hard to math the speed

ME = Messerschmitt AG

Same factory, different name.
Bayerische Flegzeugwerke changed its name to Messerschmitt AG 1938.

easymo, you can either have your fighter hangars taken down by untouchable buffs at 30k or by catchable perk-point laden buffs shooting along at 15k, much more easily intercepted by an alt-advantaged P51 or Dora. Which would you prefer?

Bayerische Flegzeugwerke changed its name to Messerschmitt AG 1938.

Bf was used with planes that had been originally designed before 1938 (e.g. Bf109 and Bf110). Thus 262 was Me262. Many different factories built Bf109:s though, e.g. Erla (they also made Erla canopy) and Focke-Wulf. And there were no Er109 or Fw109

I caught a 234 with the trusty Jug my first time up in 1.06.

You just need altitude and set up CAP over a base.  Quite fun!
