i took typing on a manual typewriter, i could hit about 40 but i had so many errors that i would only get credit for about 25.

btw hblair the method you use is called
the Columbus method- find it and land on it.

Lol...I still can't type that well as a touch typer...I'm getting real good though...I leared through WB... Intreresting isn't it?

heh, I learned to type in 5th grade on an Apple IIe. They had this space invader game where spaceships flew straight down at you and you'd have to hit the correct letter quickly to shoot it down. I forget what it was called... pre mavis beacon era for sure. I've tried to learn dvorak layout so i can type even faster but asdf jkl; is hard-wired into my brain.

on my list, 'hugahunk' is a tad more important... 'else gettin the smell outta the microphone could become problematic.
