BUG_EAF322, it is not the case of my paper 190. Some times u may be hitting a plane and doing just no or little damage due packet loose, this is the main problem I have had the last two weeks, an impressive amount of hit sprites, and nothing.

Ahh no but Toad you know that the Ami flyer's family tree doesn't fork and almost everyone has a resemblance to each other might  of been all that inbreeding done in Yeehaw country wouldn't it?

I guess you don't remember they shielded you from the awful truth :D

Oh nah Come on Bug come, the P38 does take a plethora of damage  more so than the 190 ,P47, or F4U. I agree with Wilbuz in the fact that you need a long burst even in a 190 to do some damage to the P38, with the horrid connections to HTC lately you need at least 50*20mm bullets to knock something of importance.  The P38 as it is right now need 3 well placed 30mm shots to bring it down that's of course unless you aim for the soft center and kill the inbred pilot that flies it  :D ,then no more P38 . The trick is aim for the pilot killing him. If by all weird DM glory its left wing breaks off and he bails do us all a favor and blow him to pieces the  restless carnivour sheep would like corned beef.

I didn't say the lightning can't take damage
now the FW isn't made off paper too.

Yeah i guess package losses or so

like i had yesterday i flew a yak 9T to do some groundwork
i smacked all my shells into a ostie from all sides

guess what, the thing didn't blow up

i don't feel offended wilbus

I think some wabble pilots just overrate themselfes
i really feel petty with em when they try to talk german

LW pilot is not something to be really proud off
they flew some nice machines that's all

The Osties are something else aren't they.  I don't know how much is smaller target (and my crappy marksmanshipt) and how much is armor but... with the 30mm+2x20mm on a 109G6 I can short burst (less than 1/2 second) a PT boat and blow it up almost everytime.  I've not sure I've ever got an Ostie with that same combo.

Does anyone know how armor works in AH?  I don't mean this to be a whine or a flame of HTC, I'm just kind of curious.  (And I also am aware that the low velocity rounds I'm packing in the 109 are not really suited to antiarmor work.)

Hehehe, I know my limits, and german is one of them, won't ever try and talk it (ok,think I've said a few words german in AH) :)

No, the 190 is not made of paper either, can be pretty sturdy sometimes, but far more planes can take more dammage.
